A Certificate to Make A Difference

Some people want to help more than one person at a time. They want to make a difference for an entire population, and sometimes institutions and society need to change in order to make that difference. This certificate will help you develop the policy knowledge and skills to make that change happen.

  • Identify social and personal determinants of health important in policy development.
  • Analyze institutional policies, ordinances or legislation.
  • Write policy for an agency, a company or a nation.
  • Influence policy makers on the job, or at the local, state or national level.
  • Advocate for change in your community or your country.
